Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini confirmed yesterday that Paulo Dybala will leave the club this summer and it hasn’t taken long for teams to submit their bids for the striker. According to Zamparini, Arsenal and Juventus have both approached the Italian club about signing the 21-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 27 appearances this season.
Paulo Dybala has been strongly linked with a move away from Palermo for most of the season and has been rumoured with a move to some of the world’s biggest clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus.
And the club’s president has today confirmed that Arsenal and Juventus have approached the club over the signing of their Argentine striker.
Speaking to Radio Marte, he said: “Juventus and Arsenal have already made offers. [Pierpaolo] Triulzi, the lad’s agent will be in Italy on Friday. I’m asking for more than €40m.
“Dybala would prefer to stay in Italy, but the among the British teams, Arsenal are the first choice of the lad because of the way [manager Arsene] Wenger's team plays.”
